“Where Can We Find Such a Ministry with the Heart of God?” – Boniphace John’s Story

My name is Boniphace John, and I am the father of John Boniphace, a Class Four student at Oikos School. As a parent, there is nothing more important to me than seeing my child grow in academics, in character, in faith, and in love for others. That is exactly what I have seen happening through this school and this ministry.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you. This ministry is doing more than just teaching children in classrooms. It is shaping hearts—starting with our children and reaching into our homes.

What amazes me most is that their care doesn’t stop at the school gate. They also care for us as parents. I remember clearly the month of June. The team came to my home—not just to greet us, but to minister to us. They sat with us, shared the Gospel using something called the “Three Circles.” They helped us understand God’s plan, our brokenness, and how Jesus brings restoration. It was simple, but so powerful.

And that’s not all. They provided medical care to us and other people around our community. No judgment. No cost. Just help—given with love and compassion.

That day, I was overwhelmed. I didn’t have many words, but one verse kept coming to my heart. It’s from Genesis 41:38, where Pharaoh says, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the Spirit of God?” That’s exactly how I feel about this ministry.

Where else can we find such people—people with the heart of God, who care not just for the mind but for the soul, not just for the student but for the whole family?

As a father, I am deeply grateful. I thank God for connecting us to this ministry. My prayer is that many more families in our village and beyond will be touched the same way we have been.
